I found an extra large Care Bears nurses' shirt at a thrift shop's bag sale.
This equates to practically pennies for this shirt!
It was in excellent condition, and the colors were vibrant!
I was able to cut the back off and make it into a nice little blanket for my four year old daughter.
I used the front to make a cute apron.
When you go into the thrift shops, be sure and look for items you can use as material.
I particularly love cotton sheets!
