Instant Rice






My family loves rice, but cooking rice can be time consuming.


I prefer to feed my family healthy brown rice, and not quick white rice.


So, when I do cook my rice, I typically cook (at least) an entire package.


When it's done, I dish it into freezer bags.


When we want rice in a hurry, we simply pull out a bag and either dump 


it into a bowl and throw it into the microwave, or put a few holes in the bag 


and drop it into some boiling water.  (My own little boil-in-bag rice!)
