The end of the month is the perfect time to have a Saturday Sit-Down.
In a few days it will be November, and we will find ourselves right in the holiday hustle and bustle.
Make this year the year of organization. Let's be strategic about the holidays this year.
A little strategy; a little organization tends to save a TON of stress!
Make sure you jot down your holiday menu ideas.
Hey, while you are writing out your Thanksgiving dinner plan, you might as well take a few extra minutes and plan out your Christmas dinner too.
Our family's Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners don't differ too much, so that simplifies things for me.
I will also be jotting down the extra holiday baking I will be doing this season.
Then, I can look over these lists and pull together my shopping list fairly quick.
Do you already have your holiday box of non-perishable foods going in your pantry (or even in a box stuffed under your bed)?
Nobody wants to be in the grocery stores on the night before Thanksgiving!
With just over three weeks until Thanksgiving, so let's get a strategy going.
Be sure and leave me a comment, email me or pop over onto my facebook page and tell me all about your holiday strategy!
Hopefully, you are doing some things to help the upcoming week run smoothly.
I have looked over this past week's meal planning schedule and took note
of the dinners I did not cook.
I am able to transfer those to the new week.
I am checking the calendar so that no scheduled appointments catch me by
surprise.
One shopping trip tends to put my coupon binder into disarray, so I will be working
on some organization in that department.
What are you doing for your Saturday Sit-Down?

The week-end is a great time to stop and review the coming week.
Life runs so much smoother with little preparation time.
Remember, you don't have to get complicated. Even a little preparation
is better than none at all.
1. Meal Planning - Again, don't make it complicated.
Glance over the pantry and freezer, then jot down a few suppers.
2. Coupon Organization - Granted, the coupons have a way of
getting out of control. You don't have to do everything at once.
Go through your coupon binder and throw out all of the old flyers and lists.
3. Look at the Calendar - Glance over your calendar to be sure you know
what is coming up this week.
Remember: Even a little preparation time is better than none at all.
