Today is Major Monday! Yippee! I LOVE to have the house get a major
overhaul every Monday.
Since it is the last Monday of the month, my coupon binder is also getting an overhaul today.
I have cut out all of Sunday's coupons, plus ALL of the coupons I have printed out lately.
I have gone through EVERY coupon to check on the expiration dates.
Every coupon that has expired has been put into one stack.
Every coupon about to expire that I really want to use has been put into another stack.
I have quite a few Rite Aid +UPRewards to use before the end of the month, so I picked out
ALL of my buy one/get one FREE coupons, so I can get the most for my money.

Major Monday
Although today is Major Monday, I am NOT doing anything except enoying the day!
My husband and I are celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary!
While the kids are straightening up the house, hubby and I are going out for breakfast.
For supper, all of my kids and grands are coming down for Josie's pizza and cake!
This is far from a frugal day at the Foote house, but we are able to celebrate special
days like this because we typically live frugally!

Major Monday
Today has certainly been a MAJOR Monday around here.
We have overhauled the living room. It looks so much bigger!
Isn't it funny how a clean room looks bigger?
A clean and organized room also saves money!
Each child has a drawer in a filing cabinet to keep all of their books in.
We pulled out the drawers and found overdue library books! Oops!
We also found a certain cord that daddy has been looking for.
The problem is, he got tired of searching and just took the money to buy a new one.
The moral of the story is, clean and organized really does SAVE money!

I did, and one of the first coupons I noticed was the buy one/get one free Right Guard deodarant or body wash.
Walgreens is also having a BOGO Right Guard deodarant or body wash.
When you use the BOGO coupon with the store's BOGO deal, then both are FREE!
(You will have to pay the taxes, however.)

Major Monday
Major Monday is one of my favorite days of the week!
We sleep in Monday morning, and start the day in a laid-back manner.
School work is saved for afternoon and early evening.
The girls are busy cleaning up their bedrooms, and the boys are helping
a neighbor put some wood into his cellar.
I am looking at all of the awesome deals this week!
I am excited about Walgreens this week!
When you buy $15 worth of participating Coke, Hershey's or Planters items,
you will get $15 in coupons; not register rewards!
- 2 liter Coca-Cola products 2/$3.00 (limit 4) or 12pks.2/$8.00 (limit 4)
- Planters Cashews Halves & Pieces (9.25 oz.) or Mixed Nuts (11.5 oz.), $3
- Hershey's Candy (8.5 or 9.2 oz.), 2/$5
What a great way to get paid to stock-up on some candy for Easter!

Major Monday
I love Major Monday! (Can you hear my kids groaning?)
We don't start our school work until Monday afternoon.
That gives us the entire morning to do a major clean-up.
Actually, the kids spend the morning cleaning up. :)
I spend my Monday mornings doing major paperwork!
Besides working through school papers and bills, I go over the new
week's sales papers.
Have you seen the sales this week?
Walgreens is having an awesome sale!
They have 6 items that you can pick up for free this week. They can
actually become money makers if you have the proper coupons!
For example: Motrin is on sale for $3.00. Use this $1.00 coupon, and you will only pay $2.00, then Walgreens will give you $3.00 back in register rewards. You will be paid $1.00 to take the Motrin!
If you have the $6.00 off from two Motrin coupon that was in the paper a few weeks ago, then you will be paid even more!
